International Conference "Practice Of Palliative Care In The Eurasian Region. Exchange Of Experience" Was Over

International Conference "Practice of palliative care in the Eurasian region. Exchange of experience" took place on 17– 18 October 2017 in Ivano-Frankivsk . Experts in the field of palliative care from more than 10 countries, representatives of the world health organization, Ministry of health of Ukraine, Department of Europe and Central Asia, "Human Rigths Watch," Open society Foundations participated in the event. The conference is devoted to 20-anniversary of the Regional clinical centre of palliative help in Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Ukraine can become an example and inspiration for reforms in many countries in the Eurasian region. Ivano-Frankivsk was one of the first major partners of the Fund "Revival" in the promotion of modern palliative care. 2017 is the 20th anniversary year for the Ivano-Frankivsk regional clinical centre palliative care. Ivano-Frankivsk hospice was the first institution in Ukraine, which combines all types of assistance: home care, mobile team, hospital and round the clock support, becoming an example of comprehensive support and assistance to the patient and his family."
