I can find the author of the picture: it turns out to be a guard named Denis. This is a young boy. He is very modest, not too eager to tell what inspired him. Although the appearance of such an image on this passage is not so accidental. On the contrary, it is rather symbolic.
It is the gateway to the Kyiv Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, a scientific and practical institution where children with the most severe pathologies from all over Ukraine are sent and about which Ukrainians do not know much about, as opposed to, say, the Okhmatdit hospital or not. built by the phantom "Children's Hospital of the Future".

During the 25 years of independence, Ukraine, as a state, has not even learned to count such patients. There is practically no accurate statistics on the number of seriously ill children. For example, children in need of palliative care in Ukraine can be from 17 to 70 thousand. The real number is not known by the Ministry of Health or the public sector. There are no methods for conducting such statistics. And this is just one of the points in the long list of what is urgently lacking.
Many doctors are convinced that the level of help to children with severe illnesses can only be raised when the overall level of medicine rises. It can be long and boring to project how it will happen step by step. But there is still no "time to pump".
