The whole world remembers February 4 every year as Cancer Day . And February 15 every year as the World Day of a cancer-stricken child. We hold various promotions these days . They are aimed at drawing public attention to prevention and timely detection and timely treatment, to strengthen the levers of influence on equal access to diagnosis and full-fledged treatment of each sick person, to significantly support those cancer patients who find themselves in a crisis situation of incurability or to help vulnerable segments of the population.
The Ivano-Frankivsk Drama Theater celebrated these days with another screening of the play "Oscar and The Pink Lady" with Irma Vitovskaya in the title role, who owns the idea of this performance. The excellent direction of Rostislav Derzhipilsky, the excellent performance of theater actors and Ivano-Frankivsk children does not leave any viewer indifferent. We are proud that our theater always raises and covers important socio-political issues on its stage, and also that it very skillfully combines classics with modernity in its performances.
For 22 years, the Mother Teresa Charitable Foundation has been creating various projects for the development and support of palliative care in the Carpathian region, including the Oscar project. And today we sincerely thank all those who never pass by the seriously ill and terminally ill, who take steps towards our common mercy. On 04.02.2023, the theater audience put 21616,00 hryvnias in the boxes of the foundation's volunteers! Thank you to everyone who did not remain indifferent!
