During May 23-25, 2019, the 16th International Congress of the European Association of Palliative Care was held in Berlin. Incidentally, such congresses are held every two years, each time in another country. There were 5 poster presentations at the Congress on various areas of development of palliative care in Ukraine. The poster of the NMU (Decyck, Zolotareva, Melnyk) received the distinction of the best in its subject.
Also, a new Atlas of Palliative Care in Europe, co-sponsored by Oryn Decyk, Lyudmila-Oksana Andreyishin, Ksenia Shapoval, was presented at the congress.
In addition, the representatives of the Münster Hospice, namely the Hospice Director Ludwig Prints, Dr. Andreas Steglie and Nurse Heike Beningshausen, with whom the cooperation between the NMU and the OCSCPD was established, invited us to an informal round table where they confirmed the plans for further cooperation.
