Attention everyone!
Charitable Fund of assistance to terminally ill patients "Mother Teresa" informs: in connection with the celebration of the world day of hospices, we will hold a variety of events, meetings and activities for several weeks. For use of possibility of further development of system of palliative help in Ivano-Frankivsk. And to support palliative patients – children and adults.
The current campaign began these events:
October 03, a cycle of thematic improvement "certain issues of organization and provision of palliative care for children" was opened for children's doctors from Kharkov, Kiev, Vinnitsa, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk. The training was organized by our training centre and postgraduate Department of Pediatrics, national medical University with the support of the Foundation "Renaissance" and will be held until October 13.
The same day in Kolomya was held a round table meeting with representatives of the authorities on development and support of palliative care in areas where primary health care. Kolomyia city CPMSG (chief doctor Vladimir Melnichuk) is the first and only in Ukraine the primary institution that created the office works with Palatine patients.
October 04 - in Ivano-Frankivsk gallery "Bastion" opened a photo exhibition "the Right to live without pain...", created a documentary photographer Rusey You and held an open press conference "Sharing the care" with the participation of the Director of DOSES, administration Myron Matejko, first Vice-rector of NMU of Anna Arsenic, medical professionals, clergy, invited guests from other areas, volunteers of the hospice movement.
The main goal of our events:
- Create an interagency working group with representatives from health, education, economists, lawyers, social services, clergy, representatives of the authorities with the purpose of development, approval and implementation of the regional program of further development of palliative care.
- To attract the attention of the public and authorities to the problems of palliative patients.
- To improve the network of institutions for palliative care region. To create routes of palliative patients, including children, regardless of their place of stay or residence.
- To improve education and training programmes in the field of palliative care.
- Fundraising – start a fundraiser to support patients visiting/Advisory Department and the acquisition of a vehicle for children's teams.
All events are held under support of the programme "Public health" International Fund "Renaissance".
The exhibition will be held during the week from October 04 to October 11.
