On May 28, 2018, a training on the topic "Palliative care management: symptom control, treatment of chronic pain in the practice of a physician" was launched. Doctors, nurses, teachers of medical colleges, community leaders, and children working in palliative care for children and adults began training. The participants of the training came from Ternopil, Kiev, Zaporizhia, Lutsk, Rivne, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Odessa and Ivano-Frankivsk regions - only 27 participants.

The program of the visit included meeting with the heads of Chernivtsi regional management of health care with the leadership of Ivano-Frankivsk Department of health, the management of Kolomyia city primary care centre and also with the management and staff of the Clinical center of palliative care. They wanted to take the experience of Ivano-Frankovets how to create and develop palliative care. And also wanted to know how to execute the documentation. Regional clinical centre of palliative care in Chernivtsi invited guests your experience in providing palliative care for the elderly and children in hospital and at home, as well as experience of cooperation with the chaplains and volunteers of the hospice. We hope that the visit of colleagues from Chernivtsi was pleasant and useful to them, and the experience gained will be useful when the opening of the medical institution "Hospice" in their city.
