The second national forum on pediatric palliative care was held in Kiev on 2-3 November. It passed with the support of International Fund "Renaissance" and with the initiative of the Ukrainian Association Palliative Care to children. The forum is an opportunity to bring together concerned professionals, government representatives and public figures who work to ensure a decent life and childhood of young patients who need palliative care. During these days the participants had the opportunity to learn best practices, discuss pressing issues and to take part in the formation of the plan of further actions towards creation of a modern system of children's palliative care in Ukraine.

29 October-01 November 2017 in Kiev will be held a training for doctors on the topic of palliative care to children; and from 02 to November 03, 2017 in Kiev will be held the Second Children Palliative Care Forum, with the support of International Renaissance Foundation and at the initiative of the Ukrainian Association of children's palliative care.

We invite you to participate in a scientific conference with international participation "The practice of palliative care in the Eurasian region. Exchange of experience". It will be held 17-18 October 2017 in Ivano-Frankivsk at Independence Street, 40, the hotel "Nadia". The conference is included in the Register of additional HMFs. Organizers: Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Center for Palliative Care, Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation, Charitable Foundation Mother Teresa.

The second meeting East European group of experts on pediatric palliative care was held in Berlin on 17-18 February 2017. (The first meeting was held by format Skype Conference in November 2016). This expert group established to lobby and spread the standards of the International Network of pediatric palliative care ICPCN.

III European Congress on Pediatric Palliative Care held on 16-19 November 2016 in Rome, Italy. Ukrainian delegation presented three posters and presentation report "Improving the lives of children who need palliative care, educational programs for health professionals in Ukraine." International experts praised the results of our experts. The interest of international experts came especially close cooperation with doctors leading Ukrainian children's hospitals. Representatives of Foundation "Mother Teresa" Lyudmila Andriyishyn and Halamaha Natalia presented a poster about the art project "Oscar and the Lady in Pink" and about the work of the Regional Training Center of clinical palliative care center
