The Children's Palliative Care Center in Nadvirna Has Received Rehabilitation Equipment, Thanks The Project "Circle Of The Good"

Charity social and art project "Circle of Good" realized the purpose of assistance to palliative centers. So, on July 15 this year the center of palliative care on the base of the Nadvirna children's home was provided with a rehabilitation system.

The rehabilitation equipment in the Nadvirna Children's Center for Palliative Care will be a significant support for the palliative care service of the region. According to the head of the regional clinical center of palliative care Lyudmila Andriyishin, in the Carpathian region there is a huge number of children in need of rehabilitation. Only children with severe neurological diseases have 167, every year there are 90 to 105 children with oncological diseases.

Today, nine children in the children's center of palliative care Nadvirna undergo rehabilitation. In the center children are two weeks a few times a year. The Center provides them with medical and pedagogical rehabilitation, physiotherapy, massages, medical physical education, and the like.

It should be noted that the "Spider" rehabilitation system purchased for the center is a special suspension system for loading the musculoskeletal system to normalize muscle tone, increase their strength, improve and develop coordination of movements. The system will facilitate the passage of abolition of children with congenital neurological pathologies, in particular, infantile cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, motor disorders, and others.
