Under the Charter the main goal and the main activities of the Foundation are:
1. The development of a network of hospice services in Ivano-Frankivsk region;
2. The organization of various existing aid to Ivano-Frankivsk hospice (technical, scientific, financial, financial, human resources, etc.);
3. Organization medical, psychological and social assistance to patients in the terminal stages of cancer and other diseases;
4. Оrganization of training programs for staff and volunteers care and care for seriously ill patients.
Experience of Foundation "Mother Teresa":
We helped:
1. Hospital-Hospice buy food, medicine, and health care items, laundry and cleaning products, equipment;
2. patients who could not be hospitalized and stayed home, professional advice, purchase of medicines and care items;
3. professionals, staff and volunteers in their study on the organization and hospice services for the care of seriously ill patients in the training centers of Ukraine and abroad;
4. the organization of conferences and seminars for doctors and nurses in different specialties;
5. disseminate information among the medical community and the public area;
6. in disseminating palliative care in general and to increase public awareness of the right of every terminally ill person to a dignified end her earthly life;
7. in drawing attention of the authorities and the public to the widest possible range of global processes of palliative care;
8. in the development of institutions and volunteer chaplains;
9. in development programs, advocacy and promotion of the network of hospice services in Ivano-Frankivsk region ( "Visiting Advisory Service" hospice at home "," The first children's hospice "palliative offices in Carpathian regions);

Hospital for medical care to incurable patients. Established on August 15, 1997. Status - The regional medical institution. Until 2014, Clinical Palliative Care Center called - Hospital for giving care to incurable patients "Hospice"
To ensure the primary objective Palliative Center performs the following major activities:
1. Provides free advice, special care and specialized medical care in the hospital and at home ( "hospice at home") patients according to the profile hospital;
2. Ensure, where appropriate, legal counseling hospitalized patients;
3. The training provides skills relatives of hospitalized patients and the care of seriously ill patients in the terminal stage;
4. Provides psychological support hospice patients and their relatives during the loss of a loved one;
5. Arranging for patient consultation with leading specialists of medical institutions;
6. Provides organizational and methodological assistance to health care in our region on palliative care and special care under hospice profile;
7. Conducts analgesic treatment for patients with severe pain;
8. Carries out training of volunteers for the care of critically ill patients;
9. It is a training base for palliative care and special care for patients inkurabelnyh Ivano-Frankivsk Medical College and Medical University;
10. Conducts research effort under the guidance of the Chair Medical University.
